Denzil Eugene Woodcock, 68, of Waveland, a retired employee of National Homes of Lafayette, died Sunday in Culver Hospital at Crawfordsville after an extended illness. He was born Feb 5, 1910 at Madison, MO, a son of George and Lucy Burton Woodcook. He was married to Genella Taylor in February 1934 at Terre Haute. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. James (Shirley) Smith of Waveland; a brother, George of Waveland; and two grandchildren. Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Machledt & Servies Funeral HOme here with Rev. Glen McFarland officiating. Burial in Old Union Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home 6-9 p.m. Tuesday.
